Move over Cinderella’s glass slipper… Greytown’s Schoc Chocolate studio has created a beautiful size 7 stiletto, out of chocolate!

These beautiful looking stilettos are hand made out of dark chocolate,  and beautifully coloured with cocoa butter then presented in a clear purse. Owner Murray Langham said the stilettos walked out the door during Mother’s Day and he and his staff have since worked over time to create more gorgeous footwear for those who love to combine fashion with taste.

The stilettos are just some of the incredible and unusual treats you will find at Schoc Chocolate housed in a super cute historic colonial building next to Cobblestones Museum on the main street in Greytown. Other interesting chocolates include peanut chilli clusters, paua painted treats and Schocroni, an incredible salami inspired treat made with a chocolate, raisins, apricots, hazelnuts, almonds and a touch of pink peppercorn. In addition more than 15 flavours of truffles fill the main display cabinet and there are 60 flavours alone in the tablet range which is laid out like a library, with categories such as floral, citrus and spice.

Those who prefer savoury flavours can rejoice thanks to Murray’s unique combinations which include: cardamom and dark chocolate, toasted sesame and top seller lime and chilli.
